  Moses Lived at 65 Trafford Road, with his sister Elizabeth, he moved to 18 Trafford Road in 1933. When he was 11 he went to school at the mechanics institute in manchester now umist. He worked at Motlers Butchers Eccles and later became forman at Eccles CO-OP. After 30 years there he got the job as Head Butcher at the Pendleton CO-OP, which he did for 15 years, retiring at 65. He was a member of the Oddfellows Independant order for 60 years and a member of the Eccles Veterans Association for 20 Years.
