- Percy left UK for new Zealand in 1903 but then went to Rhodesia, Australia and Argentina. in 1914 he left New Zealand to join 2nd Kings Edwards Horse. Recieved the Military Cross, then went back to New Zealand with his young family in 1919. Farmed in Hawkes Bay NZ. he had two girls Dora and Joan and a son Tony. Joan and Tony now live in Havelock North, NZ.
