- Sidney made many trips between England & Capetown South Africa. In 1916 Sidney travelled from Capetown to London on the ship Galway Castle arriving 29th May 1916. then he travelled First Class, on the ship "Ascanius" from Durban, arriving in Liverpool, . along with his sister Frances Eachus. 24th January 1925, Sydney made a second trip in 1926, giving his norman residence as the Transvaal.
Sidney travelled on the Ship "Trafford Hall" from Durban, arriving Plymouth 16th June 1928. he was listed as being 48 years old an Accountant, and living at "Holly Lodge" Benges, Herts [archive-digital copy DM 29]
