- Henrys first wife Louise Sparnes would not go with him when he joined the army, Soon after this they Divorced
When Henry's first child Trisia was born, he was working as a Taxi Driver.
Henry, his wife Jane and his young family moved to Toledo. Ohio for 5 years before Henry took his children back to Rockwood.
Jane came and got the children and they lived in Jefferson City, with her parents. They later divorced and she re-married to Leo B. Recknagel of Toledo. He died in 2002.
Henry died on a Saturdat in the Chattanooga Hospital following a lengthy Illness. A Veteran of World War II he was preceded in death bt his brother Robert Eachus, survivors include two sons DarrellEachus of Chattanooga and Michael Eachus of Toledo, Ohio. Daughter Teresa Mitchell of Toledo, His Brother Fred Eachus Jnr, Stepmother Nannie Eachus, both of Rockwood, three grandsons Mike, Tom and Monty Eachus all of Chattanooga. Grave side services were held 11am at Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood. [Chattanooga Times 28th November 1988]
