Fred Eachus is listed as being a passenger on the Cunard Line from New York to Liverpool arriving 5th July 1925. he is listed as being a Salesman age 27. his address in the Uk being 576 High Street, Winsford,
on the 31st May 1948, Fred age 50, Auto Dealer, along with his wife Nanny Mae age 36, and His Brother Isaac age 62 . Salesman and his wife Elsie age 62, arrived in Plymouth from New York on the ship SS Marine Jumper. their address whilst visiting was 576 High Street, Winsford, Cheshire.

Entered into eternal rest, Monday Feb 19 1979 Fred Eachus Sr, 80 419 North Chanberlain Ave, Rockwood, died Monday at 12.40pm
of cancer at Oak Ridge Hospital. He had been ill for 3 years. Mr Eachus was owner and manager of Molyneux Chevrolet Company in Rockwood until 1972 when he
sold the business to Charles Lee. The compant franchised in 1916 by Mr Eachus's uncle John Molyneux was Tennessee oldest Chevrolet dealership.
The Building for the Dealership is now on the U.S. register of Historic buildings, and is protected from development, because it was the first Chevrolet Dealership in East Tennersee.
From Saskatchewan, Canada, Mr Eachus came to Rockwood in 1916 to work with his uncle and his cousin Harry Molyneux at the dealership. He had come to Canada in 1915 from Winsford England in Cheshire county to be with his brother Isaac Eachus.
In 1958 when his cousin and partner Harry Molyneux died Mr Eachus bought the other half of the dealership from his widow. Mr Eachus a member of St Andrew's
Episcopal Church in Harriman, had been a member of St Stephens Episcopal Church in Oak Ridge for 15 years. For 50 years, he had been a member of
Rockwood Lodge # 403 F&AM, of which he was master in 1938. He was also a member of the Civitan Club in Rockwood.
He enjoyed redesigning and remodeling old homes, flower gardening, reading, travelling and landscaping around his home on Watts Bar Lake.
He visited his mother Mrs Emma Eachus in England every few years from 1948 to
1971. Mr Eachus's wife Mrs Nanni Mae Barnard Eachus who is business manager of
the dealership, now Charles Lee Chevrolet-Oldsmobile in Rockwood, has been
working in the accounting department there since 1931. In addition to his wife
Mr Eachus is survived by two sons, Fred Eachus Jr and Henry Eachus both of
Rockwood, and several grandchildren and great grand children.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday at 4pm at St Andrew's Episcopal
Church in Harriman, with the Reverand John G Barrow officiating. The body will
lie in state at the church 1 hour before the services. Burial will be in Oak
Grove Cemetery in Rockwood. Masonic services will be held tonight at 8.30 in
the Memorial Chapel of Booth Funeral Home in Rockwood. The family will receive
friends tonight from 7 to 8.30pm at the Funeral Home.
