- EACHUS, MRS. ALPHA OMELIA BURNETTE - age 85 of Rockwood, passed away Friday December 11, 2009 at the home of her daughter in Antioch, TN surrounded by her children. After earning her beauticians license in Michigan, she returned home to Rockwood where she owned and operated her own shop until 2006. Mrs. Eachus was a lifetime member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Harriman. She was preceded in death by her father: Thomas Earl Burnette; and her mother: Mayme Cunningham Burnette Bond. She is survived by her husband: Fred Eachus, Jr; her children: Rebecca Bingham and her husband Ron of Manchester, Fred Eachus, III of Morristown, Patricia Eachus of Antioch and Thomas Eachus of Rockwood; two grandchildren: Kristen Bryant and her husband Derrick and Ashleigh Bingham all of Manchester; special friends: Charlotte Cannon and Sharon Simpkins. The family will receive friends Sunday December 13, 2009 from 2:00 to 2:30 PM at St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Harriman. Funeral mass will follow at 2:30 PM with Father Joseph Pinner officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood.
