  Edward Mercer was born at Aynho-on-the-Hill, Northampton, England, in 1626. He was christened on 3 June 1626 at Thorpe Mandeville, Northampton, England; Thorpe Mandeville registers show the baptisms for all of Edward and Elizabeth's children, as well as this Edward's (son of Edward and Susanna) and his four sisters. He married Elizabeth Witcher on 25 July 1648 at St. Gregory by St. Paul, London, England. Edward Mercer died in 1680.
