- From "The Leedom Family" by Sara A. L Eachus: John's wife, name unknown, died in 1707 as written in William and Sarah Phipps Leedom's bible.

John Leatham, 1664, for being at a meeting was fined and had goods taken from him, 4 pds, 4S. Robert Leatham, 1664, and Thomas Webster were taken at a meeting and committed to York Castle for ten days. Sarah Leatham: on the 12th of December, 1664, Rebecca Smith, Alice Hill, and Sarah Leatham were committed to prison by Justice Blythman for ten days for refusing to give securities for their good behavior. At the same session they had the Oath of Allegiance tendered them, and for refusing to take it were committed to prison.
