  Ada's birth was registerd as Ada Weaver at Gt Boughton, Cheshire in 1865 8a 364. on the 1871 Census Ada was living with her Grandmother Elizabeth Dixon [F08381]. The only baptism found for Ada Weaver in Thornton Le Moors is on the 25th May 1865, daughter of Jane Weaver. Ada was brought up by her Grandmother Elizabeth Dixon nee Atherton. on the 1881 & 1891 census she gave her name as Dixon, but on the occasion of her marriage to John Walker she used her real name Ada Weaver.
