Know all men by these present, that we Charles Hurst of Tattenhall, Cheshire, Yeoman. and Joseph Eachus of Bradley, Cheshire, Yeoman
are holden and firmly bound unto the Right Reverend Father in God Samuel, by Divine permission Lord Bishop of Chester the sum of ?100 pounds of good and lawful monet of Great Britain, to be paid unto the said Right Reverend Father his lawful Attorney, Executors, Administarors of Assignes. To which payment well and truly to be made, we binf ourselves and each of us freveally for and in the whole, our Heirs Executors and Administraters, of us firmly by these presents, sealed with our seald and dated the twenty fifth day of April in the sixteen year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Seconf, King of Great Britain, France and Ireland, Defender of the faith, and in the year of oiur lord God, one thousand seven hundred and forty three.
The Condition of this obligation is such, that if there be not any Impediment of Praecontract, Confanquinity, Affinity, or other lawful cause to hinder the marriage of the aboveCharles Hurst of the age of 42 years and Elizabeth Eachus of Tattenhall, spinster of the age of 24 years or thereabouts. Shall clebrate the said marriage in the Parish Church of Tattenhall or in the care of the Cathedral Church of Chester
