- Inscription at St Gabriels Churchyard Middleton: In Loving memory of Sarah Alice beloved wife of John Dixon, died 29-4-1935 aged 63 years. "a life of sacrifice." also the above named John Dixon died 20-6-1947 aged 69 years. Also Sophia Binns died 25-4-1958. (sarahs sister aged 81 years).
Sarah Alice had an Aunt Mary Whitehead {F081825}, (the wife of her late Uncle John Rodgers) with whom she was living in 1901.
