- Norman "Buddy" Eachus, 73, of Monroeville passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2006 surrounded by his family.
Born in Barnsboro, Norm was the son of Norman S. Eachus. He has lived in the Elmer area for the past 46 years and during this time he was member, former Chief and President of the Elmer Fire Department Station #21, past secretary for the Elmer Ambulance Corp., and served on the Elmer Board of Education. Norm was also a member and former Governor of the Woodstown Moose Lodge # 932, the Dividing Creek Deer Club and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He retired from the Woodstown store after 40 years of service as a meat manager for Acme Markets.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Lois (nee: Chew), his daughters, Bonnie and Robert Jeffers of Pittsgrove, Gayle and B.J. Johnson of Elmer, and Joy Aikin of Florida; his sons, Dean and Evelyn Eachus of Hopewell and Larry and Dale Eachus of Vineland; a sister, Betty Biggs of Pitman and his seventeen grandchildren, Larry Jr., Steven, Brittney, Joseph, Christina, Alyssa, Joshua, Jessica, Amanda, Courtney, Kelsey, Amber, Kyle, Zachary, Nicholas, Kacey, and Keri and one great grandchild, Jordan.
