    Joseph lost an arm while jumping railroad cars at about 13 years old, he was nonetheless very successfull. He was a telegrapher for the Southern Railroad in Glen Mary, later in charge of all the telegraph communications for bringing trains in and out of the Southern Railroad yards in Chattanooga. He died from Pneumonia contracted at the age of 56. He was a cofounder of the Molyneux/Davidson/East Chevrolet in Rockwood, Tn The First Chev Dealership in East Tn.

    Josaphine was born in Glen Mary, She later moved with her family to Emory Gap, then to Rockwood (where her grandfather Molyneux was living) and then
    to Chattanooga, wher she married Harry F Prendergass, the couple then moved to Knoxvill, and in 1848 to Kingsport. She was a graduate of East Tennessee State Teachers Collage. she taught first grade in Chattanooga public Schools and Kindergarten at Colonial Heights Prestbyterian Church. As a young woman she produced many oil paintings and played the piano & the Violin. She was also a member of the Kingsport Gardening Club.

    Josephine had a stroke two days before her 101st Birthday which left her paralysed

    The Family recieved friends at Oak Hill Funeral Home on Thursday from 4pm untill 6pm and also at St Pauls Episcipal Church, 161 East Ravine Road, Kingsport, on friday from 1pm untill 2pm prior to the service.
