He was born March 29th 1920 in Rockwood and moved to Sunbright in 1929 where he graduated high school. He joined the Air Force in 1941 and served untill 1945 as a first Lleutenant. He graduated as a B-17 bomber pilot and flew 25 missions out of Foggia, Italy. Following World War 11, he returned to Rockwood, where he went into business at Molyneux Lumber Co, with his uncles The late Harry and Tom Molyneux. He became president of the company untill the business closed in 1984. During this time, he also farmed on the property where he lived untill his death. He was also a member of the American Legion Nos 40 and 8. the Civitan Club, of which he held several offices including President and District Lt Gov. He was past President of the Rockwood and chamber of Commerce in Roane County, as well as past president and held offices in other civic organizations. He was director of Federal Land Bank and was on the advisory board ofFarm Credit Services for this area, as well as a member of First Presbyterian Church of Rockwood. Family/Spouse: Living.
