    John and two of his brothers George and Frederick emmigrated to Victoria Aust. at diff. times. George Francis Morris had the largest vinery in the southern hemisphere at the time and if you put his name and Rutherglen Victoria into Google you will see his information. He built a mansion. After he retired two of his sons ran the vineyard but with the grape vine virus the business was sold and the house fell into disrepair and was sold a number of times. Now one of George's gt. gt. granddaughters has purchased the property and is bringing the house back to its original form. The photo was taken around 2007. It is of the home called 'Fairfield' in Rutherlgen Victoria- on the right where the house moves out is the ballroom where he entertained the Governor at the time. My gt. gt. grandfather John Chislett Morris moved to NSW and to Katoomba (you may know as the blue mountains and the 3 sisters which are mountains). And my grandfather moved to Newcastle for work. Newcastle is on the coast of wonderful beaches of which we in Ncle. are spoiled. Ncle is about 2 hrs. drive north of Sydney (note from Lyn, Johns gt gt grandaughter in Australia}
