Barbara Noble Eachus, 86, died May 22, 2007 in Savannah, GA where she had resided since 2001 at Rivers Edge Retirement Community. Barbara was born in Newark, DE, to Spencer and Helene (Yerkes) Noble and was raised in Philadelphia. She was graduated from Drexel University where she met and married her late husband, Edward D. Eachus. She was a member of national honor societies, Omicron Nu and Phi Kappa Phi. She later lived in North Syracuse, NY and Chesapeake, VA and was a past member of the Weavers Guild in Syracuse and Tidewater, VA areas. She and her husband were members of the Green Acres Presbyterian Church in Portsmouth, VA. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Spencer and Lorraine Eachus of Savannah; brother and sister-in-law, John and Jean Noble of Merion Station, PA; sister-in-law, Betty Harris of Gibbsboro, NJ; and several nieces and nephews. There will be no memorial service as her cremated remains will be buried later in Honesdale, PA at the convenience of the family.
