1. | Adolphe Mathias Wentzl was born in 1819 in Cracow, Poland (son of Maciej Szymon Wentzl and Maria Zuzanna Bayer); died in 1892. Notes:
Adolphe Wentzl lived for a number if years in London where he was the Manager of the Mont of the Bank of Poland, in connection with he made arrangments on behalf of the Bank with London Zinc Mills, He subsequently became the London agebt of Baron Anton Franjel, the financier and founder of Credit Foncier. Adolphe and his family later moved to Paris, where he became the Private Secretary to Baron Fraenkel for a time, before returning to Warsaw.
