3. | Mary was born on 22 Aug 1771 in Virginia, America. Notes: Daniel Eaches mary's husband seemed to be a lapsed Quaker one consequence of which was that the Goose Creek Monthly Meeting Records for the relevant period contain only two references to him as a witness at Quaker wedding ceremonies, the last of these was in 1795. Fortunately, Daniel kept a family record in his Bible. His wife was named Mary and was born 22 Aug 1771, but sadly he failed to record her maiden name. One presumes she was a fellow Quaker and member of the South fork brance of the Goose Creek Monthly Meeting. Moreover in view of Quaker onomastics (ie, nameing of children) one can further speculate that her father may have been named Joseph. (the name of her first born son), especially since none of the children of Robert Eachus Sr, or of Robert Eachus Jr, was so named
