Jean M. Eachus, 81, of Tiffin, passed away at 1:10 p.m., Saturday, March 16, 2019 at the Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center in Tiffin.
Jean was born on August 6, 1937, in Gallia County, to the late Gerald Robert and Fawn Estelle (Frederick) Hull. She married Dan A. Eachus in Bidwell, OH on April 20, 1957 and he preceded her in death on August 14, 1988.
Survivors include her children, Beth Anne (Karl) Bechtel of Hagerstown, MD, Dirk Allan (Jennifer) Eachus of Galion, Molly Sue (Steve) Kirian of Bowling Green, Dan Andrew (Mickey) Eachus of Tiffin, Ben Robert (Jennifer) Eachus of Boynton Beach, FL, Thomas Quinn (Kimberly) Eachus of Bluffton, twenty-three grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and a sister, Janet (Gary) Vare of Carmel, IN.
Jean was a homemaker and the Owner of Eachus Insurance Agency. She was a member of the Shiloh United Methodist Church where she was the organist for 40 plus years. She was the President of the Old Fort Music Boosters and a former board member of the Farmers Mutual Insurance Company. Jean was a 1954 graduate of the Cedarville High School and was very active with the Do Nothing Club!

Ben married Madge Accord. Madge was born on 11 Jun 1898 in Kingston, Ross County, Ohio. US; died on 13 Nov 2001 in Gallipolis, Gallia County. Ohio. U.S.; was buried in 2001 in Mound Hill Cemetery, Gallipolis, Ohio. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Frank was a Barber in Gallipolis, a national horseshoe pitching champion and erstwhile amature minstrel. from 1914 to 1921 he was the national horse pitiching champion. at the time of his death he was district manager of the Ohio Horse Pitchers Association. He was a Barber for 60 years 48 years of which he was in the same Court Street Location. he retired in 1946 but still continued to work as a barber by appointment. in his private life he was an amateur minstrel, blackfaced comedian and a banjoist teaming up with the Late Frank Norton, his performances locally were legendary.

Died:
Frank died at 4:15pm on Wednesday. In failing health for several months, he had been in a critical condition for his last week and lapst in a coma several days before his death, His death was due to a heart condition.

Frank married Rose Belle Allison on 5 Apr 1893 in Rose Allisons family home in Sandfork. Rose (daughter of Henry W Allison and Ann Provens) was born on 18 Jan 1873 in Gallia, Ohio. US; died on 3 Apr 1940 in Galliopolis, Fulton, Ohio, US; was buried on 5 Apr 1940 in Mound Hill Cemetery, Gallia County, Ohio, North America. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Birth:
Her birth place was the large house standing on the River Bank between Kanauga and Georges Creek, but most of her childhood was spent ain Walnut Township.

Died:
Rose Eachus of Court Street, died at 5 am at the Holzer Hospital, she had been seriousley ill ever since she was admitted there on Saterday Last. She contracted a bad cold a week ago and had been in poor health for over a year.

Elias Wetherholt Funeral Home.
Funeral held at 2pm on Friday at the Grace Church.
