Notes:

John was a partner in a Carriage Builder's/ Farrier / Blacksmiths company in Slough Buckinghamshire, with Richard Coventry. In 1834 using his ?400 inheritance from his Uncle John Creffield they dissolved the partnership and he bought the second half of the company from Richard Coventry.
The Workshops were stuated on the Turnpike Road leading to Eton.
John was convicted of brawling in 1840, and in the Buckinghamshire Herald 11 September 1849 is listed as an insolvent small scale coach Maker,
He was also summond for not paying his share of the Poor Rates Jan 7th 1851, In 1859 he was fined for "Furious Driving" (reading Mercury 10 Oct 1859)
He died 24th April 1864, suddenly at the age of 78 ans was listed as a much beloved, old and established coach and Harness maker (the Era 1st May 1864)
