John Jones

Notes:

John was the youngest of eight children, born prematurely at severn months he sufferd Health issues, including Poor sight and heart valve problems. The Jone's were a catholic family, but the five surving children all married C of E. John worked at several jobs including an office manager at Lawrence Scott Electromotors in Openshaw. He was also a musician and was made an associate of the Victoria College of Music when he was 14, for piano & Violin.

cause of death - Bowel Cancer.

John married Marjorie Rourke on 20 Dec 1944 in Manchester Register Office, Lancashire, England. Marjorie (daughter of Christopher Rourke and Elizabeth Jelly) was born on 29 May 1921 in Gunson Street, Miles Platting, Manchester, Lancashire, England; died on 21 May 1982 in 246 Wilmslow Road, Fallowfield, Manchester, Lancashire, England.
