    In 1789 John was the tax collector, and in 1790 the asessor.
    From 1791 to 1795 he rented from Henry Harvey Ashton Houses and land ?5-2-0 tx 1796 to 1800 he rented a bigger farm from Henry Harvey Ashton
    @ ?11-14-10 tax.
    His son Samuel rented the original farm Tax ?5-2-0. 1801 to 1816 John Jnr has taken over the small farm from Samuel at the same tax. In 1811 Peter Eachus
    was the collecter and in 1812 the assesor. Ann paid the tax after John Snr's death in 1817 only. John Jnr carried on at the second farm untill at least 1831
    John Lived at Mote Farm, Minshull Vernon. from 1796 to the time of his death in 1816.
