Edward was the Innkeeper at the Talbot Hotel, Well Street, Holywell between 1830 and 1858.
The following is taken from the Holywell Ancestral Website;
Edward Hutchfield born in the village in 1773 may have owned a house and plot of land ajoining the River Dee, just east of Greenfield Harbour. Eventually (about 1830) he became the licensee of the Talbot on Well Street. When he retired the licence passed to his son, also called Edward (1805). As a result the Talbot was owned by a member of the Hutchfield family from about 1830 until about 1858. When Edward (1805) left the Talbot he moved to farm at Greenhill and continued with a brewing trade ``on the side``. The Talbot later became the Beaufort Arms. By 2003 the building was under major renovations. Its subsequent fate is not known.
