A Complaint was lodged against Robert Eachus Jr., on 6th Aug 1762 by the Uwchlan Monthly Meeting for alleged unfair dealing with a partner in business, and for using unsavery expressions. He admitted and apologized for the unsavery expressions, but denied the unfair dealing complaint, which was dropped due to insufficient evidence. On 9th Nov 1763 another complaint was made against him for allegedly "charging a friend falsely in public, using unsavery expressions and neglecting meetings". The second complaint ultimately proved to be his undoing, for he was disowned on 8th March 1764. Probably as a result of her husbands exile from the friends, less than a month later, on 5th April 1764, his wife Mary and their three children, Mary, William and Robert, applied for and received a certificate to remove to Sadsbury MM in Lancaster County, Pa
